Recently, JD Daojia, as JD Group's O2O service platform, will comprehensively connect with specialty agricultural products from various districts and counties in Tianjin. At the same time, the Tianjin municipal government is actively trying a new O2O agricultural model, which is expected to solve the sales problem that has long plagued the development of agricultural products and farmers' increased income.
Tianjin has always aimed to develop high value-added agriculture. Different characteristic agricultural product economic zones have been formed in various districts and counties of Tianjin, and many agricultural products have become famous throughout the country. For example: high-end seedless watermelons "Black Olive", "Golden Olive", "Flower Olive", and "Empress" from Tai Tou Town, Jinghai District; Qilihai River crabs and Chadian rose fragrant grapes from Ninghe County; Dahuangbao grass carp, carp and silver carp from Wuqing District; Shawo radish from Xinkou Town, Xiqing District; Zhouhe carp and Huanghuashan walnuts from Jixian County; Xiaozhan rice from Jinnan District; and the "Three Spicies" (five-leaf garlic chives, red-skinned garlic, and Tianying pepper) from Baodi District.
It is understood that Tianjin does not lack characteristic agricultural product resources, but the problem of poor sales has hindered its development. This cooperation project between JD Daojia and Tianjin to explore "Internet + Agriculture" will provide platform in-store services for offline retailers in Tianjin, providing product display and promotion services. Based on this, it will integrate platform merchants to form scale procurement advantages, creating a high-quality O2O life service platform for the public.
