According to statistics, in 2015, the demonstration and promotion of controlled-release fertilizers has expanded to 25 provinces nationwide, with 83 experimental demonstration points. Wan Lianbu, chairman of Kingenta Group, said that the No. 1 central document puts forward higher requirements for the application of controlled-release fertilizers and other new fertilizers. Kingenta will continue to cooperate with the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center to strengthen the demonstration and promotion of controlled-release fertilizers, benefiting more farmers, contributing new strength to the transformation and upgrading of China's fertilizer industry, zero growth in fertilizer application, and the development of green ecological agriculture; accelerating the pace of international development, and enhancing the international influence of China's controlled-release fertilizers.
This conference was hosted by the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Engineering Research Center for Controlled-Release Fertilizers, and undertaken by Kingenta Ecological Engineering Group Co., Ltd. More than 1,000 people attended the event, including representatives from the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center, soil and fertilizer stations in various provinces, grassroots extension workers, and growers.
